"Let's go get ice cream!"

This is what Carter said right before dinner tonight.  He was playing with his cars and just looked at Sam and said, "Let's go get ice cream, Daddy".  So after dinner we went to Baskin Robbins with the Torberts and got ice cream.  It was really exciting for the boys as when we got there there was a car on its side in the parking lot with a fire truck and two police cars around it.  Evidently they had hit a metal pole and somehow run up it turning the car on its side - how embarrassing!  So we got ice cream and got to see red and blue lights!

We had a normal day today - Bible study this morning, lunch, nap (I went to the grocery store), play, dinner, ice cream, bath, bed.  Carter is doing a great job going potty - not a single accident. I don't have to ask him or remind him - he just says, "I'm tinkling, I'm tinkling!"  which means he needs to go - not that he is actually going.  I'm so glad I listened to those who told me to wait until he was ready - he wasn't ready until now and boy has it been easy!  I hope Caleb does as well when it is his turn.
