My Girl

This is Carter's girl - Ava. If you ask him who his best friend is, he says Ava. If you ask him who he loves, he says Ava. He even has been heard singing, "Ava loves me, this I know. For the Bible tells me so." The funny thing is they don't really play together when they are together, but Ava seems to have the same affection for Carter. When we get to church they hug and get excited to see each other and the other kids even notice and will say, "There's your friend, Ava." I think it is so cute. Every day - "Can we go to Ava's house today? We haven't been to Ava's house in a long, long time!" I am perfectly happy with this arrangement as I love little Ava (despite the rumors of attitude and sass). She is the sweetest thing when around me (isn't that what you want in a daughter-in-law) and of course her family is pretty okay too (isn't that also what you want in in-laws). I think we'll start planning the wedding.
