 #47 - Two funny

Caleb has always been a ham.  He is very expressive and has a great sense of humor beyond his 2 years.  He is also a great imitator and will repeat sounds and expressions perfectly.  As stubborn and strong willed as he is, he is also that affectionate and spirited.  He will randomly come up and grab my legs and say, "I wuv you too Mommy!" and then run off and keep playing.  When I give him my "I'm serious" look, he raises those eyebrows and purses his lips and gives it right back to me.  He loves his brother to pieces and plays right beside him.  

Recently Carter has been expanding his blessing at the table.  He has typically been saying, "Heavenly Father, thank you for this food and bless this food to our bodies, Amen." and somehow a bite of food is already half way to his mouth.  This week suddenly he has been praying more.  This particular evening this was his blessing.

"Heavenly Father, thank you for this food.  Thank you for this good day that we had.  Thank you for the trees and the sun that you gave us.  Thank you for having Daddy home with us.  Bless this food to our bodies.  We love you so much, God.  Dear Lord, in your son Jesus' name.  Amen."

Then Caleb pipes up - "I do blessing!"  So we bow our heads again.

Silence.  Silence.

Caleb looks up, "Mine not working!"
