Catch up

I am going to try and write twice today.  This will be my catch up post from the past couple of days.  

Caleb is full on crawling now.  He is still not very fast but he definitely gets around wherever he wants to.  After being used to Carter it is difficult to get back into the mindset of closing the basement door, using the gate at the top of the stairs, and closing the bathroom doors.  Also, unlike Carter, he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.  Carter never did that so it is a little different.  I am not the best housekeeper so there is usually stuff on my floors!  It is constant - he is under the table, pulling things off the bookshelf, just in general getting into things!!  I am used to being able to tell Carter no and he in general listens.  Caleb is quickly starting to learn the word no!  

Yesterday I let Carter "paint" with yogurt.  I put some plain yogurt in different bowls with food coloring and let him finger paint with it.  He was having fun and getting messy - when I told him he could lick his fingers - that was the end of the painting.  All he did was dip his fingers and lick!  It was cute!  

Sunday we got Carter a sand and water table and he has really enjoyed it.  Of course he needs a bath every time we go outside because he gets soaking wet and covered with sand - but he has fun!
