End of the week summary
I haven't had the energy to post in the past few days but I'm finally starting to feel better. Caleb is still snotty and fussy. I'm going to have Sam take him to the doctor tomorrow to see if his ears are infected. Carter's friend Sam is coming over to play tomorrow morning along with his little brother Eli and his mom, my friend Leanne. Carter and Sam love playing together. It should be interesting and loud!
I finally got Carter's haircut - he was long overdue! He now has a short big boy haircut! His friend Sam didn't even recognize him this morning at church!
A few interesting conversations with Carter this week.
I open a new box of Cheerios and there was a Cheerios race car on the top. Carter, "Oh Mommy, it's a perfect car!"
Outside we found a roly poly and I picked it up and put it in Carter's hand. Carter, "What's his name, Mommy?"
On a walk down the street we saw a robin. Carter, "Mommy, it's a robin. Come here robin! I catch that robin." He picks up a stick. "Here robin, look I got a stick." The robin flies away. "Oh, I didn't catch him."
Yesterday morning, he and I have just woken up as he woke up at 4am and I got in bed with him. We can hear Caleb awake. Carter, "I be back in just a minute Mommy. I go get Caleb and bring him back here." Me, "Carter you can't get Caleb." Carter, "Yeah, he's too heavy for me."
Carter's recent thing is when you put him to bed after giving him a kiss goodnight he says, "I need another kiss." You give him another kiss and he immediately says he needs another one. You have to say "Okay last one." before he will stop. A couple of days ago he thought it was funny to stick his tongue out while giving me a kiss. Now he starts laughing half way through our goodnight song in anticipation of trying to give me a tongue kiss. He laughs so hard he can hardly talk. Two year olds!!!
