Picnic in the Park

This week has been a little busy. We went down to Quincy, FL on Sunday to attend my Uncle Tenney's funeral. It was a long 6 hour trip down and back the next day but I'm glad we went. The funeral was very beautiful and touching as Tenney had planned the entire thing before his death. Kathryn and Abby went with us and we were able to see my Grandmother Millicent and get a picture of the boys with her. She is 95! It took us a couple of days to recover but luckily Sam has been off this week so he has been here to help out.
Today we decided to take the boys to Swift Cantrell Park and have a picnic. It was crowded because of Spring Break but we still had a fun time. Of course being the stellar mom that I am, I didn't think about putting sunscreen on the boys and they both got sunburned faces. This is after I let Caleb fall off our bed yesterday and today after I set him on the floor he threw himself back and hit his head on the toybox. Poor guy - mommy isn't really trying to hurt him!! This is a picture Sam took as we were leaving. It was windy as you can see by the funny look on Caleb's face! We had such a nice day together - I know it sounds corny but it is true.
Funny things Carter has said in the past few days.
When he knocked the smoothie off the couch and it went all over the wall and the floor he said, "It's Mommy's fault".
