Starting to crawl

Caleb is starting to get the hang of the crawling thing.  He still just moves around a lot without actually crawling but is starting to crawl more and more.  This evening he was crawling using one knee and one leg straight.  He can get around pretty well.

Today Sam took Carter to "Old McDonald's" to play.  He found 3 girls a little older than him and joined right in with them.  He followed them around, talked to their moms, pulled them back to the play equipment when they tried to sit down and eat.  He had a blast.  The girls learned his name - probably because we had to keep yelling his name - and he learned one of their names - Abby.  The other girls he just called them the "other girls" or "the people".  He of course cried when we had to leave.

This afternoon we ran some errands and at Target I got Carter a little piece of chocolate.  I gave him a bite and with his mouth full of candy he said, "I need more chocolate."  Is he my child or what?  Then on the way to the grocery store Carter asked if we were going to the store.  When I asked him why he wanted to go to the store he said, "Because".  Where did he learn that?  We have got to really start watching everything we say.
