Fussy Day
My sweet happy baby has been driving me crazy today. He has been throwing fits and crying all day. I think it is a combination of teething and constipation. Both good reasons to cry. I think I am in for a long night! I forgot to mention yesterday that Caleb is crawling just a little. He will crawl a few "steps" and then stop and sit back. He will probably be all over the place by the end of the week. Also, I forgot to mention somehing Carter did yesterday. We were in the grocery store and he was sitting in the basket. I got some cookies and as we were going up and down the aisles I realized he was pretending to get a cookie and out and eat it. Over and over again, up and down the aisles he "ate" his cookies. Pretending is a new thing. Yesterday while I was fixing lunch and Caleb was on the floor of the kitchen, Carter ran in and said, "I make something for Caleb." He then ran to his "new" tool bench and I heard him hammering and drilling and sawing. Then he ran back into the kitchen cupping his hands - with nothing in them of course. Then he carefully set down his "creation" in front of Caleb and said, "There you go Caleb!" Then ran off to build some more - singing "Bob the Builder" song at the top of his lungs. Toddlers - you wouldn't want to live without them - and yet sometimes...
