Sorry!

Sorry Mom and Grandma - I've been a little slack - and tired. One day both my children will sleep through the night. Of course by then I will probably have another baby that will be keeping me up all night! We have been busy. Doing what I'm not sure but it seems like we are always busy. On Mon. I had been getting my shower and dressed and Carter was playing in the cabinets in our bathroom. He plays with all the bottles and things and pretends to put on lotion and deodorant. Sam was sitting just a few feet away on my computer. I went upstairs to get something and when I came back to the bathroom this is what I saw.

Carter was "painting" with my eyeliner and eyeshadow. On his face, leg and the bathmat. First thing I said was, "Sam, are you not paying attention to your child who is sitting six feet from you?" No, he was not paying a bit of attention. While he ran to get the camera I asked Carter what he was doing. He said, "I paint a monster Mommy. Like Little Bear!" Oh well, no harm done, but I need to put a child lock on that cabinet!

We had Sam and Eli over on Tuesday while Leanne spent the day with her dad at the hospital. It is just too cute how much Carter and Sam love each other. We are learning the catechism questions and the second question is "What else did God make?" The answer is "God made everything." Carter's answer is "God made Sam."

Today we went outside to play and Megan and Jackson came out as well. They had a blast playing in the sand and water table. Caleb had so much fun. He got filthy dirty. He was eating sand like crazy (as you can see from the look on his face in the last picture). He kept falling down and rolling around and getting muddy. Then he smeared dirt on Jackson's face and laughed. His pants were muddy and grassy and his white socks were black! But he had fun! Jackson poured a cup of water over his head and then proceeded to put sand on top of that. They are going to be trouble together!
