Jumpy Place

Today we went to Monkey Joe's - aka Jumpy Place. Megan and Jackson were already there having met some people from church earlier. Of course when Jackson saw Carter he got his second wind. They had a blast. Carter is full on there - running from place to place. Caleb runs after him as fast as his little legs can carry him. He is still a little hesitant to go down the big slides by himself - he's still too light and ends up sliding around sideways and flipping over on his stomach halfway down. He does like going down with Mommy or Daddy though - the minute he gets down he goes right back and tries to climb up again. Then Carter decided he would go down with Caleb - just he and Caleb. They had so much fun. This was the best picture we could get with Sam's phone - a little blurry but you get the idea! I love seeing how much they enjoy each other. The first thing Caleb does when he wakes up in the morning is go to Carter's door and say, "Ga Ga" - that's Carter in Caleb talk. On mornings I get Carter up first, the first thing he asks is "Where's Tayeb?" While they don't always share well - alright, they never share well - they are always playing near each other. If one goes upstairs, the other follows. If one comes down to the kitchen, the other will be down shortly. They play hide and seek in the pantry, run from one end of the house to the other and giggle with delight while trying to catch the other. Carter is always aware of keeping Caleb safe and if Caleb gets hurt Carter will run and get his blanket for him. I am excited to see their relationship grow and hope they will be brothers and the best of friends.
