#27 - "Emma" on PBS inspired by the original
I watched the first part of "Emma" on PBS the other night and decided to go get the book as I have not read it. I love Pride and Prejudice - the book and the A&E version. My friend Jen told me a while back that Masterpiece Classics was playing some good movies in the next few months. I've watched "Cranford" and "Return to Cranford" and loved them. I started listening to Cranford on
Librivox and am enjoying hearing the REAL story. Last Sunday they played the first part of "Emma" and I really enjoyed it. Jane had a sense of humor. I can't believe I hadn't read it so I decided to before I see the rest of the movie. There are several more classics coming on in the next few months - Sunday evenings.
