Plopping Rocks!

I don't have the pictures to post because Sam took the camera to work but we got some really cute pictures of Carter at the rock beach. I put some water sandals on him and once he realized he could wade in the creek he was in heaven! He had a blast walking in the creek and "catching fish". I was worried he was going to step on a snake! Eventually, of course, he fell in and got soaking wet and just said, "Oh no Mommy, I'm all wet!" and kept right on playing. Next time I'll try and remember to take a towel.

Carter is having a great time with Caleb now that he is moving around. He thinks it is so fun to crawl along beside Caleb or call him from the next room and watch him come crawling. He is constantly looking around to see where Caleb has crawled to and several times has warned me that Caleb has put something in his mouth. This morning Caleb was "learning" not to touch the bookshelf and since Carter does not like it when Caleb is getting disciplined he quickly picked up one of Caleb's toys and walked away from the bookshelf calling, "Caleb, come play over here." Sam and I both teared up - how sweet that he wanted to distract Caleb and keep him from getting in trouble. I am treasuring how much they enjoy each other right now. Caleb just lights up when he sees Carter and the same goes for Carter. They just laugh at each other for no reason. Whenever we get ready to go anywhere Carter always says, "Caleb go with us?" I know all too soon they will be fighting and hitting and saying they hate each other. But for now they love each other like brothers should.
