Catch up - again!
Okay - recap!
On Friday we decided to take Carter to the Civil War Museum which has "The General" - a famous engine involved in "The Great Locomotive Chase". Of course Sam and I knew nothing about this infamous chase but we figured Carter would enjoy seeing the train. When Sam put Carter in the car he plopped him into his seat and didn't realize he sat Carter down on the buckle. Carter exclaimed, "Oh dear, my tushy is hurt! Daddy you need to kiss it." He then raised himself up to present his rear end to Sam to be kissed! The Civil war museum was definitely a museum and we just walked past most of the displays. They had a 30 minute video showing the "Great Chase" so we decided to try it and see if the boys would make it. Thankfully there was only one other family and they had a one year old so we figured we wouldn't bother anybody. Carter really enjoyed the movie but he kept talking to it out loud. "Oh no, where the train go?" "Mommy the peoples better hurry and get the train!" "Oh dear, what the peoples doing? The train going to crash Mommy?" It was pretty funny. Of course sometime in the past few months his volume button got turned up and I can't find it to turn him down!! He talks so loudly!
That evening we sat down to eat dinner and Carter immediately threw up. Sam and I jumped up but Carter calmly said, "Oh goodness, I blew it everywhere." It makes it a little easier to clean up vomit when you are laughing!
