I'm back - hopefully!!
Ok - I'm going to try to get back on the blog train!!
We were in Camden for a week then home for two days and Sam and I went to Savannah. What a blessing it is to have a few days to ourselves. Thank you, thank you, thank you to my wonderful parents who took care of the boys while we were gone. It was so great to just be adults - not parents for a couple of days. It is something we need to do more often for the sake of our marriage. Better husband and wife means better mommy and daddy!!!
Yesterday we went to Costco and Sam put Carter's hat and glasses on. The picture isn't great because I used my camera phone in the shaded car but you can still see how cute he looks.
Yesterday Carter wanted me to draw him a train on his Magna Doodle. I attempted to draw a train and showed it to him. He said, "Oh Mommy, that's a beautiful train!" If only he would always be so impressed with me!
Caleb is really standing up by himself a lot. He started doing it for a second or two before Sam and I left for Savannah but got better while we were gone. Now he just lets go and stands there playing with a toy or eating puffs. He doesn't even realize he's doing anything different! He will be walking before we know it.
Sam's sister and her family flew in today. They are spending the night tonight with us and then driving to Camden tomorrow. We will head down there to visit in a couple weeks.
Hey Stephanie! I just found your blog. I can't believe how big the boys are getting. We miss ya'll so much!!
Love,
Kathryn
