Carter and I had a conversation about heaven today.
Carter, "Where is God?"
Mommy, "God is in heaven."
Carter, "Where is heaven, up there?" (pointing outside)
Mommy, "Well, kind of, it is far away."
Carter, "How do we get to heaven?"
Mommy, "Well we can't go there right now, it is very far away."
Carter, "No, we just get on the interstate and go left Mommy."
Well there you go.
Too cute. I had this same discussion with Sarah when she was about the same age. I told her God was in her heart. She started giggling and proceeded to tell me he was tickling her.
