Seriously

I am happy to report that Carter had a much better day today.  Obedient and respectful - I guess it does pay to stick with it and be consistent. 

Caleb on the other hand...

is hoarse from all the crying and screaming.  I guess I should be glad they don't have a bad day together.

This evening Caleb had another one of his "I'm not going to think about trying my dinner" tantrums.
After 30 minutes of carrying on he finally ate one bite - gave me a big grin and asked to be excused.

Then he proceeded to scream for 30 more minutes because he didn't want to put his pajamas on.  When he does this he is promptly put on his bed.  I periodically go in and ask him if he is ready to obey - to which he says  "uh uh".

After a while he finally says "Yeh muh" (Yes ma'am) and we move on.

Pajamas on and he goes to pick out a book.

Guess what he picks?

"Green Eggs and Ham" - yes he did.

I just laughed.  I then proceeded to read the entire book substituting "Chicken Tetrazzini" for "Green Eggs and Ham".

He thought that was funny,
